Today, Scandic is launching a new communication concept, 'Your friend in town', along with the company’s first international advertising campaign since 2018.
Scandic has opened the doors to its fifth hotel in Germany, Scandic München Macherei. The hotel, which has 234 rooms, is located in Munich’s lively 'Die Macherei' quarter in the Berg am Laim district.
Scandic Hotels has signed an agreement for a new hotel in Ski outside of Oslo, Norway. The hotel will be centrally located beside the train station and with 15 floors, it will be a new landmark in the city.
Located in downtown Helsinki, the hotel is housed in an impressive 1920s printing house that has been transformed into a large 352-room hotel. Along with unique loft-style rooms, the hotel features inspiring event, meeting and coworking spaces along with a trattoria and bars.
The hotel is located in central Copenhagen and with 632 rooms, a spacious wellness area, two restaurants, a rooftop bar and large event spaces, it’s the company’s largest hotel yet.
Scandic will operate the hotel from October 1 2022 under the name Scandic Opus Horsens
Scandic Holmenkollen Park in Oslo has a 128-year history. Today, the hotel, which has 376 rooms spread over 10 buildings, is reopening following a comprehensive 15-month renovation.
With 451 rooms, 1,225 beds, event space for up to 1,000 people and largest rooftop terrace offering a panoramic view of the river, the hotel will be among the biggest in Gothenburg.
Scandic and property owner Pandox have agreed to extend the leases for 15 hotels in the Nordic region, of which 12 are in Sweden, two in Finland and one in Norway. In addition, the agreement for the Marina Congress Center in Helsinki has been extended. The agreement includes a total of 3,598 hotel rooms.
