Commonwealth Hotels announced the acquisition of the Residence Inn Houston-West University and the Courtyard by Marriott Houston-West University. Both hotels are centrally located in the Greenway Plaza- West University area, minutes away from Lakewood Church, HRG Park, the Houston Galleria, Rice University, and numerous upscale restaurants and nightlife.
Most recently Baker moved to Ohio from Oregon where she served as general manager at the Home2 Suites and the Candlewood Suites Eugene, Oregon.

Mr. O'Malley brings over 23 years of hospitality experience to his new role as general manager having previously served as the area director of operations and general manager with Sonesta International.
Mr. Lewis brings over 6 years of hospitality experience to his new role as general manager having previously served as the general manager for Malcolm Bryant Corporation at the Hampton Inn Louisville Northeast.
Mr. Schultz brings over 15 years of hospitality experience to his new role as general manager having previously served as the operations manager of the Hyatt Place Chicago O'Hare Airport.
Prior to joining The Springhill Suites by Marriott Cincinnati Midtown, Arena served in various leadership roles for Drury Hotels, Ruffin Hotel Corporation, and Pillar Hotels and Resorts at various hotel properties in diverse markets across the United States.
He brings over 25 years of brand and multi-unit experience to his new role. Aftanski was most recently Chief Operating Officer for ChrisBro Hospitality.
